A few years ago I was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the graves of my ancestors. Some of them were beautifully maintained and some were not even recognizable as burial grounds. I was disturbed at the state of decay and neglect I saw. So many of our ancestors final resting places are at risk of being lost forever. I saw so many burials marked with only field stones at the head and foot and to me  that was heartbreaking. All that I saw touched me deeply and I felt an overwhelming desire to take action and do something about it. That is my motivation for starting Sacred Site Research And Restoration and it is my hope that you will join me in reclaiming and restoring and properly identifying as many of these sites and individuals as possible.
